What Does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Bring to the Table?

We here at W.I. Simonson have to hand it to Mercedes-Benz: it served up one heck of a luxury sedan with its midsized offering, the 2017 E-Class.

Wondering why we feel like we do?

Then, check the clip below. Here to highlight the E-Class's best attributes is AutoGuide.com Senior Associate Video Editor Zach Vlasuk:

On the base E 300 model, the sedan receives a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine as standard. Good for a hearty 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, the turbo-four links with a nine-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The 4MATIC® all-wheel system, meanwhile, is available as an extra.

The top-tier AMG® E43, by comparison, ups the ante significantly. Outfitted with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, the AMG® E43 is rated at a robust 396 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque.
