Mercedes-Benz debuted its Concept A Sedan at the Shanghai Auto Show. It’s a work of art.
The Concept A Sedan is a futuristic iteration of the compact sedan. The brand’s compact model lines have been selling really well over the past few years, and this striking concept car is an expansion of that success.
In designing and engineering the Concept A Sedan, Mercedes-Benz held fast to a design principle of “sensual purity.” The vehicle features smooth, sweeping unity rather than lines and surfaces that interrupt one another. Even the door handles are all but invisible.
You can’t miss those cool headlights- the contained grid structure is a nice balance to the flawless exterior. The grids inside are coated in UV paint and exposed to ultraviolet light, resulting in the glow you see.
The aesthetic of this car is exceptionally appealing. It has a very polished, cool, aggressive style. It looks mean, in the best possible way.
