Car-to-X Communication and Other Safety Systems

Car-to-X communication allows your Mercedes-Benz vehicle to communicate with other cars and infrastructure like traffic signals. Full integration of this technology could allow your Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan, coupe, convertible, or wagon to automatically react to emergency vehicles, avoid traffic, and time your travel according to traffic signals.

New Engine Tuning

The outgoing engine of the Mercedes-Benz E 400 has been re-engineered for more power, resulting in the all new Mercedes-Benz E 450. This powerful model features 362 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The AMG® line welcomes the Mercedes-Benz AMG® E 53, featuring a new 3.0-liter turbocharged I6 engine with EQ Boost, offering 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque.

ENERGIZING Comfort Control

The optional ENERGIZING comfort feature allows you to set a custom ambience in your Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The system features Freshness, Vitality, and Comfort modes, and each mode creates a custom theme by configuring your fragrance diffusor, automatic climate control, lighting, infotainment, and seat massage settings.
