Certification

To meet our standards, a Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz must pass our meticulous inspection and hold specific criteria to qualify.

General Verification
First, every Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz must undergo a rigorous analysis ensuring that all features of the vehicle are updated and are functioning properly.  This begins an 11 point inspection which includes: identifying structural damage, mileage and history verification, vehicle maintenance schedule verification, and ensures that all documentation is present and is current along with other substantiation that the vehicle is actually recognized as a Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz.  Once the vehicle passes it goes through more evaluations ensuring that its as extraordinary as your expectations.

Road Test
Each CPO Mercedes-Benz enters an intimate screening, a 14 point examination, that involves a vehicle demonstration in order to confirm that all instruments and features have great functionality and are not missing or defective.

Appearance
Finally, every Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz is scrutinized for a clean exterior, free of dents and scratches and an interior that is as pristine as the outside.  Each vehicle receives a full detailing and cleaning that covers a 32 point inspection, giving you the best looking car on the road.

Every Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned (MBCPO) vehicle is covered by the standard MBCPO Limited Warranty, effective for one year with unlimited miles and beginning when your vehicle's original 4-year/50,000-mile* Mercedes-Benz New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires.

Starting now, at the end of your CPO Limited Warranty, our Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Extended Limited Warranty offers additional protection for 1 or 2 years - now with unlimited miles.  Every vehicle is backed by our comprehensive MBCPO Limited Warranty and for those that no longer have a New Vehicle Warranty active, coverage starts at the time of delivery.  Coverage extends to the engine and powertrain, steering, suspension, brakes (excluding wear of discs and pads), electrical system, climate control system, and more.**

As part of the Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance program, this coverage reimburses** you for expenses in the event of a warranty-covered breakdown, up to $300 per day and up to three days, that occurs more than 100 miles from home causing an unexpected stay overnight.

Vehicle Exchange Privilege
Every Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle is sold with a 7 day/500 mile Exchange Privilege.*  If you are not satisfied, return within the allotted time or mileage (whichever comes first), and the authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealer will trade it with another Certified Pre-Owned vehicle of equal or greater value (if the buyer wishes to pay the difference).
